Merry Christmas

I had plans for a great Christmas blog. Something creative, touching, tug at the heart strings all warm and fuzzy...

Or something like that.

However, we woke up this morning did sheepy chores and then headed over to the neighbour's for the traditional "Non traditional" Christmas snowshoe and potluck. After a great morning of tromping around in the snow followed by stuffing ourselves it was off to my parents to spend the rest of the day hanging out with family and stuffing ourselves again.

And now it's late, and we are STUFFED and it's definitely time to settle in for a long winter's nap. So here are a few recycled pictures of the dogs enjoying the snow - much like they plan to for the rest of the holidays as well as my favourite Christmas poem.

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,
stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons.
It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags.
And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before.
What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.
What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

Dr. Seuss
