Sam's just shy of a year now and sporting his summer "do". I have to say, I love how he sheds out without matting.
Here's an extra picture of him, just because he's so darn cute.
Raising a guardian dog can be a bit of a challenge, especially the first year. I figured I'd show you some of the toys we've used to help keep Sam out of trouble.
Sam gets plenty of bones, and this is the remnants of one of them - a big elk leg I think.
The "Jolly Roller". It's Sam's favourite toy by far.
The "Holy Roller" - I don't make these names up folks, that's honestly what they're called.
And apparently, the electrical on the stock trailer...could be worse,
he could be "playing" with these.
